So for one of my extra credit assignments I decided to visit the student health service center. At first I had no idea where in the world it was located; I knew we had a health center because during are payment period for our tuition we have to pay twenty-five dollars for its services. I had to ask a fellow peer in our biology class if they knew where it was at and they assured me it was located in the back of the school pass the pool area. At first I was dreading the walk, as well as getting lost, but as I began to walk over there I noticed it was not as far as I thought it would be, and it was actually fairy easy to located because of signs pointing toward its direction as well as a very noticeable red cross on its door. When I walked into the center I was completely taken aback; at first I thought it was going to be like a high school nurses office with just a bed and a middle age lady on a desk, but to my surprise I found the health service center actually being more like a typical community health clinic. It was extremely nice, everything seemed clean and the receptionist showed the up most respect even after I told her I was only her for an extra credit assignment. Another thing that also surprised was learning that the services they provided were absolutely free. Any student can go in and see a doctor, counselor, nurse practitioner and chiropractor for no charge. For me this is amazing, considering the fact that anything medically related is insanely expensive, especially if you don’t have health insurance. The health service seems like a pretty nice place to go to if I ever need any type of medical help. Not only is it convenient and easily accessible but it provides high quality care, with little to no waiting times, which again is another amazing thing. Personally I am glad I went to the health center and discovered all this, and maybe before the semester ends I’ll even try out the chiropractor services.
For another bonus point assignment I choose to search some of my favorite restaurants to see their health care rating. At first, I choose some pretty generic restaurants like Benihanas and Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ and to no surprise I found that both restaurants were actually rated very well. To me, personally I found this to be completely boring because I rather find some restaurant that had problems then write about restaurants that usually tend to be perfect so that they could maintain their high status. So next I decided to do some research
