Disasters
Once a disaster is declared, then the disaster is classified according to the level of response needed to cope with the situation. This incident is declared a Level I disaster according to the local community disaster plan.

Feedback:The client’s highest priority must be optimal fluid and electrolyte balance and the perfusion of vital organs. The largest organ of the body, the skin, has been compromised. Fluid can leak through the damaged capillaries, causing plasma loss that can lead to irreversible shock if not treated immediately.
