This picture dubbed: “ Across the Pacific Coast” is a very picturesque photo of the Canadian Rockies located in British Columbia in the Western Cordillera landform region. The photo clearly shows The Canadian Rockies, but even though these mountains are the main focus of the photo it also shows a brilliant landscape including an array of lush green forests, and a long blue lake. Physical geography is the branch of geography dealing with natural features, and by looking at this photo many natural features can be recognized. These natural features are what makes this photo represent physical geography. The Canadian rockies in this photo have numerous high peaks and ranges, and this is also significant to the physical geography shown in this photo. The photograph i have chosen is connected to the geography theme, physical geography because when we learned about landform regions of Canada, in order to identify each landform region by their physical features when looking at a photo, we had listed land features and included what the shape of the land is .When you look at this photo of the western cordillera you can quickly take note of the physical features such as the rugged, high, peaked mountains, and narrow coastal land.
