Costa Rica Rainforests
Most of Costa Rica’s forestation can be classified into three groups; rainforests, cloud forests and topical dry forests. While rainforests are the most common habitat, the cloud forests of Costa Rica are magnificent.
Rainforests can be found in the southwest of the country as well as in the Atlantic lowlands, with towering trees and looping vines that create its environment. Receiving a high annual rainfall, these dense forests are characterised by a variety of different plants and animal life.

Rainforests are disappearing very quickly. The good news is there are a lot of people who want to save rainforests. The bad news is that saving rainforests is not going to be easy. It will take the efforts of many people working together in order to ensure that rainforests and their wildlife will survive for your children to appreciate, enjoy, and benefit from.
