Python is an open source programming language that was made to both look good and be easy to read. It was created by a programmer named Guido van Rossum in 1991. The language is named after the television show Monty Python's Flying Circus and many examples and tutorials include jokes from the show.
Python is an interpreted language. An interpreted language allows the programmer to give the source code to the computer and the computer runs the code right away. This means if the programmer needs to change the code they can see any changes quickly. This makes Python a good programming language for beginners and for making programs fast because you do not have to compile the code to make it run, and compiling takes a lot of time. But because the computer has to figure out what the code does every time the code runs, Python is a very slow language.fallacy and foreshadowing. At the beginning of the chapter, Golding describes the clouds gathering, "Over the island the build-up of clouds continued" the clouds symbolize the tribe’s mutation starting to develop gradually as time goes on.
