In this assignment I will be discussing how our body reacts to exercise, I will show this by evaluating how two individuals reacted to exercise and how long it took their body to return to normal after exercise.
We started by taking routine measurements of our partner. We asked their age, if they had any underlying medical conditions that may require my partner to take any medication such as an inhaler, we also asked how fit our partner was in general life as this would affect their recovery time as it may take them longer to recover if they were unfit.
We also had to ask our partners if they had ate breakfast because if they hadn’t their body may react differently as to someone who had breakfast.
Before my partner did her exercise I checked her resting pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate, and temperature. Then after doing 5 minutes of exercise to raise her heart rate I again checked her routine measurements then again after a minute, and after two minutes to see how long it took my partner to recover from the exercise.
I predict that once my partner has done her exercise that her heart rate and temperature will go down and her respiration rate and blood pressure will go up. This is because her body is working harder so she will need more oxygen. My partner did not have breakfast so I predict that her blood pressure, temperature and respiration rate will go up considerably more than someone who had ate breakfast. If my partner did longer exercise the results would be more reliable.

The graphs show that my prediction was right and that after exercise your heart rate does go down. This is because our heart is pumping more oxygenated blood round our body with each pump. But with person number two their heart rate dropped significantly more than person number one. This may be because person one had ate breakfast and person two did not. By not having breakfast person number two did not give herself the sufficient energy in which she needed in order to be able to start the day right.

These graphs show that my prediction was also right as I believed that after exercise your respiration rate will raise. Person number ones respiration rate had turned back to normal rate after 4.5 minutes but person number twos respiration rate was still considerably higher after 4.5 minutes. This could be due to person number two was not as physically fit as person number one. This could be due to an
