1.1 it is important for each individual with communication barriers to be heard,by communicating you are able to meet their needs,it is important for people to express needs and feelings.To share ideas and thoughts it is also inpeccable that each individual is able to express them self and build up relationships and to share and gain information it is important to understand and be understood also sharing opinions is vital,and to show others that they are equal,valued and part of the community.
1.2 To be able to communicate in the work place is very important,managers ,seniors,clients and family must be able to communicate so that communication barrieras do not arise through lack of communication.Communication can be in way of telephone,letter,emails,text,wriiten notes or vocal,communication is a two way process it is important that it is precise and clear.By speeffective communication in the work place it will help you work effectivly,by good communication you can also gain and share information.If there is poor communication in your work place then the work place could suffer,mistakes could be made and this could result in valuble time of the working day being taken up.Good communication will help things run smmothly and on time and ensure a safe place to work,communicating in the right appropriate way will ensure that the service users,collegues all have there needs met and the enviroment you are working in will be an amicle one. 2.1 There are many ways you could establish an individuals needs,wishes,and preferences.
● speaking to service users family or friends
● reading service users care plan

● speak to the service user himself
● reading the service users medical notes
● speaking to your fellow colleagues it is essential that their needs are met so that they receive the best care possible.
2.2 With communication there are a few factors to be thought of,always ensure the person you are communicating with has the ability to understand you and that you are talking in the appropriate tone,sometimes you may have to approach with a sensative manner,or you could be adressing someone formaly or non formal.When communicating it is best to ensure you are in a well lit place and it is quiet and confidentual.It is important to see the reaction of others this could be in the way od facial expression,head shake or hand gestures they may also would like a family member or a friend present or would like it in wrighting.You should adapt to the needs of each individual either by speaking louder or hand gestures.
