¨Shane Voss, with the full backing of faculty two years ago, banned all cell phone use at Mountain Middle School during school hours.¨ Shane Voss, the principal of Mountain Middle School had banned all cell phones at his school, and found amazing results from doing so, students did not cheat, found the need to be on their phones much less, and were much more focused in school. Many schools across America allow students to bring their cell phone devices in class. Although they can bring their cell phones to class, they might not be able to use them, many students do break this rule while still sneaking on devices. The banning of cell phones in classrooms altogether will help eliminate many of the problems cell phones do cause. On the other
The first reason that cell phones are definitely unneeded in the classroom is because they can be used for other purposes than what is intended such as cheating on tests. According to Cbsnews.com, many students do not believe that using cell phones on a test is cheating and instead they can use their phones to help them look up answers, and help them with school, other than on just tests. However, while allowing cell phone devices in classrooms students may be able to look up exact answers on test, while sneaking on their devices although their cell phones aren’t allowed on tests.
