Musical Prelude
The Invitation and Prayer of Humility
(said together)

Holy God, before you our hearts are open, and we bring to you now the pain of our loss and our confusion as to how to go on. Even as we grope for understanding and reassurance, we thank you for the Divine Plan that shapes our enduring journey into unique works of art, by the mingling touching influence of so many loving and illuminating relationships. As we remember the expression of Danny’s life, help us to envision such a loving manifestation in ourselves. Amen.
