Statement of the Problem:
Calculate the displacement from the gym door to the Viera Hawks emblem on the concrete, near the cafeteria, using only a meter wheel and a compass, without walking on any grass.

Hypothesis:
If we record the distance, direction, and angle of direction of each vector we walk and then draw a vector diagram we can calculate the displacement from the gym door to the Viera Hawk emblem.

Materials:
Meter Wheel
Compass
Notebook and Pencil

Procedure:
First we made sure our meter wheel was at zero to begin as well as prepared our compass. Next, we started at the gym door and took the most logical path to the Viera Hawks emblem without walking over grass. Every time we turned we would record the new direction and made sure we recorded how long we traveled in that direction. We kept tracking our data until we reached the center of the emblem. Then used the data to find the displacement of what we traveled.
1. Correctly setup materials
2. Begin walking from gym door
3. Record distance, direction, and angle of direction every time you turn
4. Keep tracking data until you have reached emblem

Conclusions:
Our hypothesis was correct and accepted. By recording the distance, direction, and angle of direction we were able to find the resultant of the vectors giving us the displacement. In order to find the resultant we had to find the x and y components of each vector. Then, we
