This is in response to your job opportunity posted on your website on December 14, for the available position of Physical Therapy Assistant. I am writing to express my strong interest in earning a Physical Therapy Assistant position with Turnstone. Along with my Associate Degree in Science, current Fort Wayne PTA license, one year clinical experience, and personal experience with the impact of physical therapy, I believe I have the potential and knowledge to make a change in a child’s life.
From my education, clinical trainings, and personal experiences with my daughter, I have developed strong abilities and knowledge as a Physical Therapy Assistant. I have had the opportunity to apply my abilities through clinical experiences and I believe I can offer you my strong educational skills of providing physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, instruct patient and patient's family with the knowledge of maintaining and carrying out activities for therapy plans and goals, maintaining the proper records for all patients, and performing any assignments given by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Along with educational skills, I believe have good communication skills and I have the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner. I have proved through clinical experience that I am able to develop a healthy relationship with patients and families and I am able to carry out the duties successfully that are assigned to me. I have much personal experience with therapy and have witnessed the effect it has on lives. Since my daughter was born, my love for Physical Therapy has only grown into a lifelong desire to change the lives of other children with neurological and orthopedic conditions. My attached resume gives more details about my qualifications and skills.
