Describe a situation in which critical and creative thought could have been used for a better outcome. Describe why it is important to think critically and creatively in similar situations. A situation, in which critical and creative thought could have been used for a better outcome, is when investors were making decisions about the purchase of real estate. In 2006 the real estate market was giving signs of weakening where prior to that year it was booming, but investors were not thinking critically and creatively instead, they were greedy and they let greed make decisions for them. To make matters worse When faced with hindrances at first I tend to drown in the tiniest glass of water and it is frustrating. Over the years I have learned, on my own or maybe by example I don’t know, to look at the big picture first, see all possible outcomes and then make a decision or correct a situation. Overcoming self-deception is one of the hardest hindrances to overcome for me. I’m usually the quiet one in a group and easily drowned by the “loud” ones. When this happens I purposely act assertively so I can get my point across.

Weight loss products ads show how using a magic pill a person can look like the person depicted in the ad itself, usually this person who barely weighs 100 pounds! My initial perception is to think what if I looked like that? But the reality of the advertisement is to get you to buy its product regardless of the outcome (read the small print, it usually says that “results may vary”) and whatever the cost. Sometimes the ad producers will make remarkable offers like buy 1 and get 1 free and no shipping, all while the very thin model walks back and forth holding the magic pill in front of a camera.
