Restaurant Owner
Darlin's is a highly successful and large volume Restaurant. It takes more than desire, skills, assistance and dedication to run. The Owner should have leadership traits, excellent interpersonal skills, analytical capability and confidence. The restaurant owner has to hire someone to run the day to day functions. A strong and competent management team.
The actual job description of a restaurant owner varies depending on the other employees. Marketing, event promotions, budget and payroll records management, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. They must establish checks and balances with in the management structure as well. Sets annual goals and objectives for assistant manager(s) and frequently meets to discuss progress. Counsels, disciplines, and/or assists with termination of employees as required. Creates all disciplinary action forms with approval of senior management and human resources.
Oversight of all business functions is required.
Requirements
The owner should have a 4 year degree in hospitality or similar field
5+ years experience in business management
5 + years General Manager experience is strongly preferred
A Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university or two to four years related management is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to foster a team atmosphere
Computer proficiency
General Manager Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university or two to four years related management is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years General Manager experience is strongly preferred
Strong organizational and analytical skills
