Introduction: Drawing on his extensive experience as an educationalist, John Black, principal of Metro High School, informs all parents and the student community of the new school rule. In the latest issue of Parent News, Black states, “no student will be allowed to bring a mobile phone onto school property.” In his letter, the Principal attempts to gain parental support and seeks their assistance in enforcing the new rule.
