Many Cities ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER

In August 9, 1992 I was born in Mexico City and lived there for about 8 years. I love my hometown because it has so may places to visit, such as museums and theme parks. Mexico city is well known for the quantity of museums it has. There is over 200 museums and they are beautiful from inside and outside. Mexico City is a fascinating that beguiles its visitors with endless options. One of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, with 16 boroughs and more than 300 neighborhoods. It might seem a bit overwhelming to the first time visitor, though it doesn't have to be. Many of the most visited tourist attractions in Mexico City are concentrated in the historic center, inluding La Plaza de la Constitucion or Zocalo, The National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Palace of The Fine Arts and Alameda park. Plaza Garibaldi is one of the best places in Mexico City to hear live mariachi music. The streets are always full of people shopping. Mexico city does have some bad aspects. It has a severe air pollution problems and heavy traffic jams.The city has too many people packed into too little space. The buildings are packed closely together and it just makes the overcrowding problem worse. Unfortunately, the government doesnt do anything to make Mexico a better place for the citizens. There is so much corruption out there. One time, I remember my family and I went on vacations in mexico and my dad got stopped because one of his lights didnt work and the cop told me if you give 300 pesos I wont give you a ticket. After living in Mexico City for eight years, my family and I moved to half moon bay, California. The town is less populated,but the problem is it gets really cold in the Winter and also to go to the market you gotta drive more than 10 miles.Another thing I didnt like about this town there is no big shopping centers like in Mexico City. On the good side this town is wide open there is so much space and the natural scenery its just too beautiful. Because it is not very crowded the traffic is not a problem and the air pullition is no as high mexico city.When I finished Middle School, we moved to Denver, Colorado. Thats where I attended High School. I think going from school to school affected me a lot because is not easy to get use to a different routine. We have all moved in our lives. Some moves are welcomed and exciting. Some moves are filled with happy anticipation; some are filled with stress and anger. Even when a move is planned and something we want, it stirs up a variety of strong feelings. If you reflect on a stressful move you may have had in your life, you can probably remember the feelings associated with it. Now, imagine you are a child, who has to move through no choice of your own, and add that it’s a move resulting from a traumatic experience. When a child has to move it is often completely out of their control.We stayed there all my four years of High school, but after a while, I became very lonely. The territory was very open, but I didnt have friends. I didnt have a social life in Colorado. Eventually, we had to move back to California because I just didnt like the environment there. The one reason we waited for four years was because I wanted to graduate from High School there. Finally we moved back to Downey, California. Of all the places I have lived, I think Downey is the place where I like it the most. Downey has the second highest percentage of Cubans and Cuban Americans in the Western United States at 1.96% of the population.
