Toxic Garbage Island Response
Bisphenol A is the most commonly used bi-product in plastic and it is not renewable. And all of that is just sitting in the ocean, with not a single person or ship anywhere to be seen. And there are just mounds and mounds of this plastic floating around out there, even causing death to the sea life there. ¼ Swordfish in the Mediterranean are producing a female egg yolk and couldn’t expect a male to see. That’s absolutely insane that because of trash and plastics alone it’s completely redesigning the genetic makeup of swordfish, but not only a small percent, it’s an entire quarter of the male population. Every part of the Ocean in spots like this is entirely full of just broken down pieces of trash. A bad level is 6 to 1; this spot is 60 to 1. That’s 1000x worse; the water is so discolored and filled with basically pollution. Beyond the point where animals cannot even survive in this area.
I cannot believe that people have even allowed the pollution to get this bad in the water. It’s just filled with millions and millions of particles of trash. All of it is basically just from plastic bottles. The water is barely even water anymore it’s just filled with broken down pieces of plastic. Things can’t survive in places like this in the water. Our Ocean is being completely consumed by this debris of plastic, although not visible to the human eye in most circumstances it is still a very bad, and growing problem.
