Market Information Survey

1. Tell me about you’re your experiences with the life insurance and financial service industries?
They have been positive experiences. I have used them only through my employer for life insurance. Financial service industries I have had experiences within mutual funds within the past year and those have been great and very informative.
2. What do you think a financial advisor should do for you?
A financial advisor should be able to guide you in financially sound decisions and help you meet your personal financial goals for yourself and your estate.

3. Regarding previous contacts with financial advisors, what have they done for you?
They have managed my mutual fund and helped me make decisions on which mutual fund to place my money.
4. Who do you primarily rely on for financial advice?
For financial advice I typically look to my parents because they are always very good with financial decisions and I like to read financial articles as well to help provide knowledge as well.
5. What are the greatest financial issues facing your (profession) today?
The greatest financial issues facing my profession are budgeting and remaining on target with personal saving goals.
6. What type of insurance and investment products are available to you now? How do you feel about them?
Right now I have access to all insurance and investment products, I am pretty comfortable with them. I do not care much for single stock investments however I enjoy other forms of investments for the most part.
7. How often do you review your financial situation?
I review my financial situation probably once every two weeks!
8. What do you think is the best way to approach people? How shouldn’t you approach people?
I think the best way to approach people is with kindess and understanding of their position. I think it is important to put yourself in someone else’s shoes because it allows them the opportunity to relate to you on a more personal level and feel as if they can trust you, especially when it comes to financial aspects.

I typically communicate with people in my profession via email. Email is easiest and most proficient because everyone has different schedules and email is easily accessible for most.
