As the Exhibition Industry completes its expensive digitization process movie-lovers in many of America's smaller towns will have to travel to satisfy their need for cinema removing thousands from local econemys. According to most in the industry the conversion for a single screen cinema is at minimum $75,000. When you consider the digital conversion of an aging cinema, relize that the stated expenses are for the projection equipment and physical booth ogmentations only. What about seats, screens, wall coverings, sound systems, concession equipment...do these need to be upgraded as well? YES, cinema customers today have become very decerning consumers when it comes to their entertainment dollars. Consumers today want and expect a great value for their dollar and time.
