And help to change it.” -Ernst Fischer. The Memphis Brooks Art Museum is my selected virtual museum, and this museum presents itself as a major reflection of change in society. The Memphis Brooks Art Museum can be researched using the website http://www.brooksmuseum.org. It is located at 1934 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38104. The hours of operation for the museum are as follows: Monday &Tuesday: Closed, Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Thursday 10a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday: 10 a.m. – 4p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 5p.m, Sunday 11 a.m.- 5p.m. .The museum is closed New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The museum’s admission fee for adults is 7.00, senior adults who are 65 and older $6.00, students with a student ID $6.00, young ages (7-17) $3.00, kids who are 6 and under get in free. Also, available to members of the Brooks Art Museum only is what is called a VIP Film Pass. The VIP Film Pass costs $42.00 for a year of free films. This would prevent wasted time of standing in the long lines. The Memphis Brooks Art Museum began with American paintings for at least two decades. Overtime the museum became more versatile incorporating paintings such as paintings from the Italian Renaissance, Baroque, British, and French
