Throughout my high school career, I have been involved in multiple leadership roles, a plethora of community service opportunities and remained a role model character for my peers, faculty and family. I demonstrate pride through my school on a daily basis and lead by example for our future student body. I have strong morals and live up to the expectations put on me by my respected authority. Becoming a part of NHS would be an honor that I would uphold with respect and gratitude.
Leadership is an important responsibility, as us as students become young adults. It is a chance for us to test our skills as a respected role model. I have had multiple privileges to show my leadership within Legend and outside of the school. This summer I joined link crew as a junior. It was a great opportunity to meet new people and connect with freshman to lead them through their high school career. At first it was intimidating to be in charge, but the feedback I got from the new students boosted my confidence. They were respectful, as I respected them. I feel like my partners and I during the process really got through to them on a level in which they felt comfortable in their new surroundings. I love to help by leading in any chance I can get. This year, I am also the junior captain for my gymnastics team at Legend. I love being a part of the gymnastics team because I get to meet people from all over the county and lead by example.
