Ok, here is my first essay for my advanced writing class. I have not even looked at it yet for spelling errors or anything, but if you see anything like that or grammar errors feel free to point them out Mostly I want to know if you have any unanswered questions when you read it, like if some big piece of the picture is missing but because I know this story so well I am not realizing it

Thanks!!

Who knew that one small decision could change my life forever? When I was 17 my family moved to Florida from Ohio. My brother wanted to go to the University of West Florida and my dad had just recently retired from firefighting, so we were free to move anywhere. We all decided Florida would be an awesome new experience. I really liked Florida, but I missed knowing people and having friends, so a few days after I turned 18, I made the small decision to see what match.com was like. I never would have guessed it would have changed my life so much; I never would have guessed that I was going to meet my future husband. This is how I met my first boyfriend, first kiss, and one and only husband on match.com.

It only took a few weeks to meet Tyler. I talked to a few other guys, but none of them were really worth my time. Tyler was in the Air Force and we had a lot in common. He and I talked daily for two months before we decided to meet in person. I was very nervous. This was the first real date I had ever been on. All through high school I was fully focused on horseback riding. That was all I thought about. The well known quote around the horse world, “Eat, sleep, ride.”, perfectly described me. However, moving to Florida made me realize I wanted something more.

Our first date went fantastically. We started at a pizza place where Tyler and I shared a pepperoni pizza. He burned his mouth on a piece of pizza within the first 5 minutes of our date. I knew I was going to like this guy already. I hardly ate anything because we were talking too much. Then, we moved on to playing a few games of bowling, where he won't two out of the three games. Eventually we went to see a live band play at a local bar. Our date did not end with the expected or foreseen first kiss, but just with a good bye. After arriving home my mom asked how the date went. I told her in all honesty, “If anything, we will be very good friends”.

Our relationship progressed though, and on our second date we shared our first kiss and my very first kiss. Now, we were inseparable. Even though we lived and hour and fifteen minutes away from each other, we saw one another all the time. Each of us took turns driving to the other's house. He met my family and they absolutely loved him. He just seemed to fit so well. We took a trip up to his home town in Georgia where I met all of his family too. Texting, facebooking, and phone calls were a daily occurrence. I was falling in love with this man.

Tyler showed me the computer gaming world. I knew a little bit about computer games but did not play many, especially not often. That changed with Tyler though. We both really enjoyed playing World
