In this lab we had to mix certain types of polynomial ions and elements on the periodic table to see which will change color and which would not. The big idea was to see if we remember the polyatomic ions so we can mix them. My hypothesis was that half of the chemicals would not change colors. The trend in the data table was that at least one of the Silver, Lead, and Calcium did not change. In the lab I could have made many mistakes like mixing the chemicals wrong. Forgetting which of the formulas were Sulfate and Phosphate could have been another mistake. Another mistake I could have done was that I did not wash the tubes correctly. Also the people before could have left the chemicals on the board and tampered with our results. When look over everything I feel we did a good job and I learned how to memorized how to memorized the polyatomic ions. I also learned how to see which chemicals are deadly or not. This lab helped us memorize the ions. Albert Cueva
