A Happy Time

One summer, I spent a month with my Aunt. It was indeed a happy time. We were invited last year, but unfortunately we weren’t able to attend. But this year we were invited yet again. And this time we had accepted in full. My Aunt along with my Uncle and three cousins who in the past lived there. They lived in a small town of Diamond Bar, CA (not a very ideal place to spend a month of summer). Since it was nowhere near the beach. But instead they had a guest house in Arizona. Right at state line. “Bull Head, AZ” and “Laughlin, NV”. And along that state line was a lake. Known as “Lake Mead”. So that amongst others was our source of entertainment. They had a lot of things but most of all that I liked was their jet skis. But like I said they have tons of stuff. Quads, ATV’s, Dunebugs, Golf Carts, Vespas and pretty much anything driven on ground. They also had a medium sized boat that was bright yellow like the logo on the banana boat brand. It was pretty stylish. It held about 9 people. So big enough to hold a lot of people but small enough to fit on a simple trailer. They had 4 jet skis altogether. One was yellow which top-notch Yamaha was. The other was a blue sea-doo that rode perfectly. Both top speed was about 50 mph. They’re both just amazingly fast. So if we weren’t at the lake we were having a blast off-roading. I remember there was an extremely large hill that we had found. Behind the mile long patch of dirt trails behind their house.
