To Bully or Not to Bully? Should that be a Question?

Today in schools many students have been bullied on a social media site or cyberbullied. Cyber bullying is another form of bullying over the internet or through social media sites. According to nobullying.com e very 2 in 3 teens experience bullying at some point in their life and approximately 69% of teens own a own computer, cell phone, and use social media which makes it easy for teens to bully one another without getting caught.
Also, 52% of bullying happens over the internet and about 20% of kids that are cyber bullied think about suicide. Many teens, who have not experienced bullying, believe that bullying is not a big deal and don’t affect teens. But it is an issue. Bullying has been occurring in school and on the internet for years. In many cases the bullying has gotten to the point of the victims committing suicide. Cyberbullying not only affects the way a person is feeling but it can also affect the way a person acts and learns in school. Acording to eschooltoday.com a lack of attention from friends, parents or teachers can make a person bully you, just to feel popular and seem tough or cool. Some people also do that because they are victims themselves. Usually kids learn to bully from others like
their parents, brothers or sisters, friends. They have seen them getting their way by pushing other people around. Cyber bullying is a problem because not only is it hurtful be it often leads teens to thoughts about suicide. Teenagers who are cyber bullied often feel that they should be punished for being different so they hurt themselves. This a problem and it needs to end. If you are being bullied you there are a few things you can do to stop it. You can talk to a trusted adult, teacher, parent, or even a police officers.
