Article Review The article I read on workforce.com is called “What Are Some Standard Guidelines for Working at Home?” In the article, it presents its reader many methods to work at home successfully in detail, and I think most of the methods are effective. Actually I think that working at home is like working in a virtual team because we don’t see other team members in the workplace. Not everyone is capable to work alone at home. Therefore, the way people work at home reflects the performance of our ability for work. I would like to work at home because it somehow shows my independence and interdependence with my virtual members in work. There are many benefits that people work at home. For example, the erks of working from home reduce your stress level, make you a happier person, and help you to get more stuff done overall. Don’t get me wrong; offices can be great in their own way. But the benefits of working from home or working remotely greatly outweigh the benefits of having a physical office in my opinion. Besides, working remotely is becoming much more popular and, in the future, will likely be more practical than working together in a physical location. I agree with everything written in the article but would also emphasize that successful work from home strategies aren't just about what the employee does. It's important that the company thinks about its culture and expectations too. The organizations that are most successful truly value performance outcomes and have a culture based on merit. They set explicit, challenging yet achievable goals and don't get hung up on needing employees to be "productive" every minute. Ask yourself this question: "Does it matter if a team who delivers on everything I ask of them spends an afternoon at home watching the replay of a football match?" If he answers is "NO" then
