"Brainology"
The golden lines I selected were "No one succeeds in a big way without enormous amounts of dedication and effort." and "Teach them that by taking on challenges, making mistakes, and putting fourth effort, are making themselves smarter." Both these lines spoke out to me in a way that I want to work on engaging them into my life, whether it deals with school, life lessons, or business quarters. The first line was a no-brainer, of course. I was taught that throughout life you're going to have to put forth the effort into something if you want to be able to advance to bigger and better things, yet I still can't apply that mentality to myself today. At times I have difficulty facing challenges that I know require a great deal of hard work and devotion and so I just give up altogether, so with the first golden line I was hoping that I could take that quote and really develop a sense of how to apply it to myself without just saying it. Everyone knows you're not going to get success handed to you on a silver platter, and so it's important that I try to keep that outlook as a way to get me going every day. The second line I felt was a little more important because this is a kind of strategy that isn't really being used today when it comes to a parent-child relationship.
