I have been shocked to learn from your Facebook comment that you failed in your GCSE English examination. It is really ill luck and nothing else. I was very confident about your success and from the way you were devoting your attention to studies, I thought you might pass with distinction.
It is said that man proposes and God disposes. What a shock the news of your unexpected failure might have brought to your parents. They were thinking of arranging a seat for you in the best of the Colleges in the city, but your false step must have dashed all their aspirations. Failure or success comes by chance. You should not give way to despair or disappointment. Personally I feel that you are not to blame for your failure. We’re all humans, we all experience failure some time or another. You were quite sincere in your studies and you did your best. You should, therefore, get over any feeling of initial disappointment without losing any time and take courage. The best way to conquer sorrows, as you know, is to take them very lightly and be prepared to try again. I hardly need to add that you would do well next year and remember many great and distinguished stars have used their failure as a stepping stone to success.
Look to the positive side, the bright side, now that you have another chance take advantage of it.
Don’t give up yet, the only real failure will be to give up too soon. If you give up now you will have to face this failure for the rest of your life. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have success, and often when you feel like you want to give up and you are about to give up you are so close to making a huge break-thru. Show people that you can stand stronger from you’re fall. Tell the people failure only makes us stronger.
