The promotion only affects us partly as we get more customers by earning a good reputation

I don’t think we need to do any

No because we are the only salon for miles and we offer 3 times less than the ones in town

How has the economic state affected your business?

It has actually helped us since people want cheaper service and we offer that.

What special offers do you do?

We do pensioners days on Tuesdays and Thursday

The salon is placed near a chain of shops that do not do the same kind of business as the salon so the location brings them a lot of customer the area also has the only one franchised shop within the area with dedicated customers. The salon is also placed near two busy bus stops which make it inevitable for most people to walk past the salon.

The business is a sole trader meaning that it is owned by one person and they alone controlled the business. this also means that they have less money to spend than a business that would be a partnership.

The area dose effect the amount of promotion the business dose in a good way because its location attracts al lot of customers since it is placed near a main road and chain if shops which is busy and gives them new customers every day .the location of the business also gives them a edge because they are a far away from any business that offers the same survives as them and because they have cheaper prices that attract even more customers .
