Brief Summary on Coca-Cola Company and Subsidiaries Coca-Cola Company and Subsidiaries is a world known corporation who specializes in soda beverages, with locations around the globe. Coca-Cola was invented by Dr. John Pemberton a pharmacist from Atlanta, Georgia in May, 1886 (www.coca-colacompany.com). Dr. John Pemberton developed the Coca-Cola formula in a three-legged brass kettle in the backyard if his residence (www.coca-colacompany.com). Frank Robinson, Dr. Pemberton’s bookkeeper suggested naming the concoction Coca-Cola. Frank Robinson also scripted “Coca-Cola” into the flowing letters that have become the company’s famous logo today (www.coca-colacompany.com). The Coca-Cola brand name is said to be so successful because the corporation takes advantage of mixing their marketing strategies (Pomoni, 2010). In doing so the company is able to distinguish itself from its competitors, which increases their brand loyalty and satisfaction (Pomoni, 2010).
I have a few friends that work for the company and they have nothing but good things to say about the way they treat their employees, this is very important to me because it’s important that a company values their employees and understand that without them productivity would not continue.
