The plan I created to assist me in completing this goal is to have the S.M.A.R.T Goals posted on me and in front of me all the time. Checking it weekly and daily to ensure I am on track and moving forward. Also, I will go back to my S.M.A.R.T Goals at the midway point and re-evaluate each component. I can use this as my milestone to see how well the process is going and make adjustments if needed. My personal goal is to focus and improve my health through physical fitness and monitoring my nutrient intake by making the right food choices. Nutrition plays a key role in health. My first nutritional plan is to replace foods that lack nutritional value with foods high in nutritional value and complex carbohydrates. Making simple changes like this will boost my metabolism and produce a much healthier body. Exercising will become a part of my fitness routine. My first strategy will be to implement walking. Walking in the morning before work will be a great way to clear my mind and mentally prepare for the day while being active. When using the S.M.A.R.T Goal method I plan to implement the following:
