Life can hit you hard sometimes. Dramatic events can leave you damaged and fragile. After dramatic occurrences you’re frangible and vulnerable you can become timid and unsociable. This is a normal occurrence for most people under the same experience; However, there are extremes to the after effects of the trauma that may make people uneasy. PTSD also known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which is parallel to feeling on the edge, sleeplessness, sleepwalking, and reoccurring nightmares surrounding your trauma. PTSD can cause enough Anxiety to interfere with your job, school, and even relationships. This illness can have Dangerous occurrences causing long term damage psychologically. Therefore Lady Mac Beth seems to be effected by the murder of King Duncan at first she can’t even bear to see his face, “Hark! I laid their daggers ready; He could not miss ‘em. Had he not resembled my father as he slept, I had done’t” The evidence is clear to her starting stages towards her condition. The act she was about to commit and is eventually going to be fulfilled had already bothered her without it even being done. She feels a genetic connection with King Duncan having direct emotional feelings for a man she most likely was just acquainted to as just her liege.
Nobody denies after a hulk like event in your life occurs things are the same. People become antsy and paranoid, but this isn’t the case for Lady Macbeth just yet. Even after King Duncan’s death Lady Macbeth’s black heart feels no sympathy for the naive King’s death. For example, “My hands are of your color, but I shame to wear a heart so white…Be not lost so poorly in your thoughts.” In the light of this treachery her heart and mind isn’t even scathed. In fact she is the only sane one at the moment between her spouse and her. She is taking the role of comforting and coordinating this whole entire ordeal. Leaving some leading causes to a Stress disorder. She had taken all of this day’s actions and masked them into her mind so as if they were just a simple task of life.*”World War II,* “ For the same token this is extremely similar to people who had been in the World War II, the sights and acts done in this war must have been unspeakable. Most men and women coming back seemed fine for a couple months but symptoms began to rise and show the real damage caused under those conditions, leading to a similar stress disorder as Lady Macbeth.
