Love

Webster's Dictionary defines love as, "A strong feeling of attraction resulting from sexual desire, enthusiasm, or fondness." But to me, love is not just a feeling, it is the way that you treat the ones you care for. Everyone should treat loved ones so considerately through their actions, that they will know that they are loved and cared for. Love in my eyes, is making that sacrifice for someone, knowing that you might regret it sooner or later. Love is how you make another person feel when you are in their presence. Many people show or express their love for someone in many and different ways.

To me, love is in the actions, not in the words. The true meaning of love, as in what is the meaning of life, is one of the questions that will remain unsolved forever. But for right now, love is a wonderful feeling that should be treasured forever. Love should be valued as an important part of your life, because it will affect all relationships, romantic or not. Love has not changed over the course of human history. It the most Important emotion anyone could have. Most people take love for granted and worry about it being there when they need love the most.

Love is different for every person, even different at times. Sometimes it makes you sad; sometimes it makes you happy; sometimes it makes you insecure; and sometimes it makes you confident. If you think you are in love, then convince yourself that you are. Trust your instincts, whether you become mournfully melancholy or exuberantly happy. There is nothing sweeter than feeling something deeply and telling yourself that you are in love, whether it is for one hour, a lifetime - or an eternity.

Family love is another example of a different type of love. It is the intimate connection between our immediate family and our extended family members. Family love is said to be blind, only to show that love can be shown to anyone no matter what conditions or problems one can have. Of course we remember the good times, the hard times, and the times we spend together as a family. But no matter what the situation is within the family, love is usually an important part. A close bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship between two guys, two girls, or one male and one female, these friendships will develop into love.
