Benjamin Franklin was a great leader, also well known as a writer, politician, and scientist. He was the first person to capture electricity. Because of all his great skills, he was able to become one of the most famous people of all time.
Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17,1706 in Boston, Massachusetts . He was the tenth son of seventeen children of a man who made soap and candles. In his youth, he wrote and sold ballads.Writing ballads helped him increase his self confidence. He learned to read very early and had one year of grammar school. The other year was under a private teacher. His formal education ended at the age of ten. At the age of twelve he helped his brother James by being a printer. Around the same time read and taught himself to write effectively.
Failing to find work in New York City, now at the age of seventeen, he was tired and hungry. Finding a bakery, he asked for three pennies’ worth of bread and got three puffy rolls. Carrying one in each arm, he started eating the third. As he was walking he seen Deborah, his future wife. Deborah was a good woman and hard worker. Soon Benjamin and Deborah entered a common-law marriage in September 1, 1730. Later on, William Franklin was born.
He had a printing business with his business partner in 1743.That gave him the time to experiment on electricity. His experiments led him to kill poultry, he almost killed himself by doing this. In 1750
