Being a leader is a real skill that takes time, thought and dedication. Leadership means different things to different situations. For example it could be community leadership, religious leadership and leadership of campaigning groups. As for me I believe that a good leader has such qualities as dependability, integrity and perseverance. All these qualities I mentioned in my Key-club leader, Ms. Clarke-Naklen. She is honest, trustworthy, reliable, loyal and honorable person. She always willing to help, motivate and encourage people. All these characteristics were reasonable to choose her. Ms. Clarke-Naklen is special education teacher at my school, this fact is also one of the reasons I chose her, as teaching and working with kids always been interesting for me. In the future I would like to become a pediatrician doctor and it was useful experience for me to see how to work with children and to help to teach kids with disabilities. From morning till noon we were at school. I watched how she teaches students and how she treat them. She treats all her students as if they were her kids. The most important thing I’ve mentioned that she doesn’t just teach, she does something more than that. She direct them, she cheer them up and motivate to be better, to try hard and always dream and believe that dreams come true. My favorite expressions she said and just made my day were: “Don’t be pushed by your problems, be led by your dream.” “Dream it, Wish it, Do it.” She works with different types of people and different characters but she knows how to be with each of them. When I asked one of her students about her, he said: “She is bright person, she keeps focused and gets us through difficult times” These words can prove how important she is for them. Being couple hours at her classes I understood that you have to be morally strong person to be able to teach and work with students, especially when they have health disabilities. understood that being a leader comes with hard decisions, but it is your responsibility to make those decisions . After school we went to her home, where we had lunch with her daughters and grandson. Her daughters are very proud of their mother, and she always been example for them. Since they were little she used to take home students who haven’t great families
