For me its actually the complete opposite, my father is actually a person who has had felonies in his past. Without a doubt my father has changed his life around, from being a felon to going to jails and preaching to inmates about God. He has showed me the type of man I should be growing up. He is the person who encouraged me into law enforcement. Unfortunately with his record he isn't able to get a job in law enforcement but as a kid growing up that was always his dream, he wanted to work for the Border Patrol or DEA. His life experiences such as seeing his brother killed by the Cartel made huge impacts in his life that he knew he wanted to make a difference. But ultimately he did make mistakes that will never allow him to follow his dreams. That’s were I come in, his oldest son that he directs and is always helping me pursue my dream of law enforcement.
