CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING

TOMAX TECHNOLOGY - JUNIOR CISCO ENGINEER NEEDED

Tomax is currently in the process of increasing its technical skills to allow the business to expand into providing professional services to its growing customer base. This is an entry level position to join the growing engineering team. This role will primarily involve the testing of Cisco equipment, providing installation and pre-staging services to customers.

Responsibilities: Testing
· Working with current technical staff to design testing processes for equipment.
· Carrying out testing of a wide range of Cisco products.

Pre-staging and Installation
· Upgrading hardware to the correct version of IOS when required
· Pre configuring equipment before shipment to customer site
· Installing equipment on customer site when required

Required Skills
· CCNA or Studying towards with completion with probation period
· Good knowledge of Cisco IOS
· Hands on experience with dealing with Cisco hardware.
· Experience using cisco licensing and TAC facilities

WORLDbytes, a unique Citizen TV school based in Hackney East London, offers free camera, sound and lighting training to help you get this programme out of your head and onto the screen. You’ll be learning the technical aspects of shooting as you work on real projects, tackling challenging issues.

WORLDbytes hands-on approach to programme-making enables 16-25 year olds to learn and experience the art and craft of programme-making using professional equipment under the guidance and instruction of professional staff. Remember, learning by doing is what WORLDbytes is all about.
