There have been many different kinds of government throughout the world’s history. Every era went through different ideas of how to run a successful society, and although most of them eventually failed or changed after time, some of the ideas used in societies throughout history inspire our government systems today. Some of the main systems of government are unitary, confederate, and federal. All of these have at least one thing in common; they are all forms of government that were built to hold up a society. Their differences are what make them to separate from another, so separate that it’s the very reason why some countries use one method and another may take a different route. Governments run by the idea of the unitary system are centralized and control policies for the entire country that the government may govern. This may be a good system because of its sudden and strict authority that controls the uncontrolled things that may occur, leaving no loose ends. However, a government that doesn’t have room for the citizen’s ideas and concerns may eventually face a serious rebellion. This can be predicted because of the societies studied in the world’s history that were controlled similarly to the unitary system and have failed or faced a rebellion that tore their government apart.
