Karim Rashid is one of the best industrial designers of his generation and he comes from Egypt. He designed over 3000 production design, over 300 awards and working over 40 countries. He is best known for bringing his democratic design sensibility to the masses. He look way beyond design and architecture for inspiration. Inspiration is cumulative. During his 20-year career, Karim Rashid has designed a whole host of products for a number of renowned furniture companies, including Artemide, BoConcept, Cappellini and Herman Miller. His design are relentlessly modern, culturally aware in a trendy way, and evidently user-friendly. In his spare time Karim’s pluralism flirts with art, fashion and music and is determined to creatively touch every aspect of our physical and virtual landscape.
