Cracking the Code of Life Essay There are many reasons people with many reasons whether they want to know or not about a disease they have. It also depends on the person so not every one wants to know. Those who want to know they usually want to know because of their concerns. The bad part of knowing that you have a uncurable disease is that you have that image in your head about having a disease. That stays in your head forever and then you can’t think straight. I would do some tests to know if I had a disease because if I knew then I would know that there is one thing that would affect my life span. It makes me take care of myself more often than I normally would. Also, I would like to know because not only about me but about other people that might have it because then they could go more in depth about it. As a result of them going in depth then that means there could be more treatments or actual cures. For my final resoning I would like to know because it would make me think more about how much of a good life I had and how fortunate I was. I would only have my DNA used in a study if it were for a something that is very important. The reason I say this is because if it is used for something else exept for something that is very important then I would not submit it. Lets say they just use it to just look at it to determine me from others then I wouldn’t. If they use it to see if they can find a cure for something then I most defitnately would. Yes I would like my royalties because they are using my DNA for something that might become a cure so I can get a share.
