UNIT 3: INTRODUCTION TO EQUALITY AND INCLUSION IN HEALTH , SOCIAL CARE OR CHILDRENS AND YOUNG PEOPLE SETTINGS
1.1 Diversity means the difference between people and groups, who have different culture, religion, age, work class and gender.
Equality means equal opportunity and rights, respect regardless of their race, gender, culture and age and enable a service user.
Inclusion means accepting all of the differences which includes everyone in planning, practice and support.
Discrimination means treating some different and not as favourable as others and excluding people cause of race, culture, age etc.

1.3 As a work setting there should be already in place an organisation policies and produces and the employees should be aware of them and where to find them, staff should respect other colleagues and residents. Make sure that everyone is treated the same in the work setting.
