Embedded Assessment 1 The smell of vanilla with a mix of jazmin scented candles made the room fell comfortable and relaxing. As the day was ending my interviewee finally arrived. “Hi, Alexa thanks for spending some of your free time with me” I said. “No problem” Alexa said with that sweet smile on her face, she was wearing a pretty floral printed dress with some pink heels. Alexandra Hernandez or she prefers to people to call her Alexa. Alexa is Peruvian; she was born in April 14, 1994. “I’m here to ask you some question about your high school times” I said. “Ohh high school” Alexa said with an uncomfortable face. “Yes high school so, how was high school for you?” I asked. “Well, they were a lot of happy memories, but also sad memories” Alexa responded. “Did you had any type of incidents that happen during your high school years that influenced your coming of age?” I asked. “Yeah, I had some incidents that influence my coming of age” she answered. “The first one was when I was in 10th grade, like the little rebel that I was” she chuckled “I ran away with my boyfriend, who was older than me by 5 years.” “I’m sorry for interrupting you, but why did you ran away?” “Well, since my boyfriend was 5 years older than me at that time I was 15 and he was 20 my parents, didn’t like the idea of my going out with a guy who was 5 years older than me and they made a big deal about it and we got into a huge discussion so I got mad at them and left the house with a small backpack and I took like $500 from my parents cabinet. Well, getting back to my story, my families were looking for me like crazy; I go back to my house 5 days later. I really regretted that I ran away because my parents stop paying for my school. It was devastating; I had to look for a job so I could pay for my school.
