Target prides itself on it's innovation and delivering these ideas to the public for a reasonable price. They have partnerships with known designers like make-up artist Sonia Kashuk, designer Micheal Graves, clothing designers like Missoni, pro-snowboarder Shawn White, Chef/celebrity Giada DeLaurentiis, and designers Phillip Lim, Prabal Guring, and Peter Pilloto amongst many other hug names. They have many exclusive lines of toys only sold at Target, like specialty Barbies or Thomas the Train toy sets. Recently they opened a technology innovation center in San Francisco where teams are working to “help get ahead of emerging technologies and to find new things, test them, and bring our learning back to the larger team." (Newman, D. 2013) In this innovation center, employees test technologies to decide if they could be used in the stores daily operations or to enhance a shoppers experience through online and digital venues. Target realizes that “with digital technology rapidly remolding the retail business” they must move quickly to use or enhance technologies to draw in customers. (Lee, T. 2013)

Named the Mobile retailer of the year in 2013 by Mobile Commerce Daily, Target offers their shoppers an interesting selection of digit venues, including the normal Target.com and mobile app. They lead the retail pack with their mobile app Cartwheel where shoppers can find daily coupons, weekly sales, and double dips for additional savings using ad sales and coupons that would
