INTRODUCTION

ATTENTION: Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Catwoman…These are all movies but they all most importantly share….is that they are all from DC Comics.

MOTIVATION: Comic Books as the actor Nicolas Cage once said “Are Modern mythology, they reflect our fears, embody our ideal, and personalize our culture.”

I have a story I wanna share. When I was 4 I read my first Superman comic book. When I mean reading I read the pictures and I was good at reading pictures. After reading that comic book I was hook! I started collecting comic books. I had over 300 comics books and it wasn’t just superman but it was DC comics.

Visual Aid: Batman (1992)

I brought this comic book because it was the comic book that I read to my dad a lot. One day we both look at it and was wondering what year was batman created or who found DC Comics. I then started to do a lot of research on DC Comics. It was fascinating to me so I am going to share that information to you so one day you might buy a DC Comic and read it to your family.
