In this report I will be analysing different type of information and their sources and how Marriot hotel can benefits greatly from using the right type of business information there’s a few type of business information but the three type of business information I will be talking about on this report is verbal, written, and on screen.
The first type of information I will be talking about is verbal. verbal communication can either been done face to face or over the phone the best way to communicate effectively is face to face because there is less space for misunderstanding and it allows for verbal and non-verbal messages Marriot can use this type of business information internally to communicates with their staffs verbally at a staff meeting about their new plans and changes within the business. Also getting all the employees asking questions about the changes and also to get their opinions across also the employees could feel appreciated by the employer which will lead them to stay in the business on the other hand the business could also use this type of information externally sales prices given by the sales reprentives to their clients who might want to know how to save money and different offers they might have to update their knowledge. Marriott can also use this type of business information to help them achieve their aims and objectives Marriott can use this type of business information on their business to either communicate with their costumers or their employees for example one of the employees knows they will be late or absent to work have to phone the hotel department explain their situation.
