Temptation is the desire to perform an action that one may enjoy immediately or in the short term but will probably later regret for various reasons, in the context of some religions temptation is the inclination to sin (www.websterdictionary.com). In the beginning of the Bible we read how all things was created by God after everything has been created as God looks at his vision he replies and it was good, When God created man and woman it was good, but that soon changed according to the Holy Bible, (NIV, Gen. 3:1:2011 “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God has made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (NIV, Gen. 3:1:2011)) temptation came into play very early in the bible when Eve was tempted to eat from the tree of life that God had told her husband not to eat of the tree of life in the midst of the garden not only did she eat it, but she convinced her husband to eat also. Did this surprise God? After the serpent, women became another tool of the devil it’s been said that the woman is the weaker vessel, after Adam received a direct order from God not to eat from the tree of life even with all that God had blessed Adam with, he still disobeyed the creator of all things, Adam knew that God had created Eve because in his defense he said to God “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” (NIV, Gen 3:12: 2011). The bible also speaks about King David being described as a man after God own heart was tempted by another man wife named Bathsheba while taking a bath as an attempted to hide his sin he plotted and killed Bathsheba husband after she conceived child. (NIV, II Samuel 11:5: 2011). Then we have the story of Samson and Delilah, So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me where your strength lies, and with what you may be bound to afflict you.” And Samson told her the deception led to his death.
