What is human resource?
Human Resource Management (HRM) is a department in an organization that handles very sensitive related issues in an organization. HR is also involved in the hiring process as well as the termination process in an organization. It give every employee the sense of responsibility to the growth and success of an organization. The overall outcome of the way HR is operated is determined by the number of resource provided by the organization to carry out the goal of the organization. Without an effective HR in place, an organization will be heading towards failure in every aspect.
Human resource departments everywhere in the health care industry, plays a vital role by ensuring delivery of health care services and by facilitating optimal patient outcomes. Human resources management works with consumers, employees, payers, physicians, and other health care professions, as well, to ensure that the organization is successful.
What are the roles Human Resources Management? An organization cannot function appropriately without a proper management in the human resources department because, this department is involved in the recruitment of staff in an organization. In some organization, the HR is involved in making sure that employees get paid. Human resource also assist with conflict management amongst staff.
Because the health care organization deals with patients and their families on a daily basis and there is bound to be issues that relating to customer care and satisfaction, a proper Human Recourse is the best way to go. The most significant difference with health care environments is that their employees have human interaction all the time. Human resources not only have to manage their staff, but also make sure the patients have optimal outcomes (Health Care Administration, 2010).
Amongst the role of Human Resource is to serve as the back bone of the organization in making sure that business is running the way it should and that the employees as well are happy with the work environment. Employees are encouraged to feel free to discuss concerns and issues with the HR department without having to worry about getting in trouble for voicing their opinion.
What are the Functions Human Resource management? Human Resources Department are involved with controlling costs, improving quality, accommodating, and maintaining a competitive advantage over competition, proper training, and compliance of state and federal regulations and helping staff workers (Gomez-Mejia, 2010). In any health care setting, the Human Resources department fills a variety of personnel needs that both employers and employees encounter. The role of this department is to manage all aspects of operations that are personnel related (Health Care Administration, 2010).
