This paper talks about many different things, it’s basically about people and their way of thinking. I honestly think that many of the ideas they are bringing up are random and pretty stupid. One of the ideas was if smokes made worse grades than nonsmokers. How does this even make sense? Smoking should have nothing to do with grades. Studying is how one keeps their grades up. If people smoke it does not affect their study time. Smoking and studying can be done at the same time. It is supposed to relax people and make them more “happy” and sometimes smoking even helps people pay attention to what is in front of them. Smoking has nothing to do with studying and how much they study, then how well their grades are, it is just plain ridiculous.
Another pretty crazy idea brought up was that the longer someone went to college the more money they could make. Okay if someone decides to go to school or college for 10 years at the same school would make the same amount of money as a different student that went to the same exact school for 4 years and graduated. The number of years spent in college has nothing to do with how much money someone will make. Many people could go to a medical school or a vet school, and become some sort of doctor, and then they will make more money. The only way to make more money is once you are done with one school or one degree, go for another. My uncle went to school for 10 years because he loved to party there and he makes basically the same amount my older brother makes with going to school for 2 years.
