The concept of homeostasis is related to aging and disease because as we age we are more unable to control their systems. As a result when people lose control of their systems, this factor opens up more risk for disease.
2. When we are dehydrated, we are thirsty and drink water. Is this part of negative or positive feedback control systems? Explain your reasoning.
When you are dehydrated and drink water it is a negative feedback. It’s a negative feedback because it means that you have low blood pressure.
3. Why would you have a hard time understanding physiology if you did not also understand anatomy?
You would have a hard time understanding physiology if you do not understand anatomy because the two are interdependent of each other. If you do not understand the parts of the body, you will not understand the function of those parts and how they interact.
4. Describe the different body cavities.
The body cavities include the cranial cavity, thoracic cavity, abdominal cavity, pelvic cavity, and spinal cavity. The cranial cavity includes the cerebellum, cerebrum, pituitary, occipital, thalamus, hypo thalamus, and portions of the brain. The abdominal cavity includes the stomach, small and large intestines, kidneys, liver, and gallbladder. The thoracic cavity consist of the heart, lungs, esophagus, trachea, and the bronchial tubes. The urinal bladder,
