How Can Movement Cause Change?

Movement is the travel of people, goods and ideas from one location to another or political events. In movement the three categories are the movement of people or other living things. The second sub category is the movement of goods and products. The last category is the movement of ideas.
The first category being discussed is the movement of people and other living things. An example of movement from people and other living things is the Slave trade or the Triangle trade. The slave trade was when manufactured goods from Great Britain to Africa. Great Britain soldiers would take African slaves and make them work to carry these goods when they reached South America. They slaves would stay in south America and work for plantation owners while these soldiers from Great Britain would go back. These soldiers would go alone they would sugar, tobacco, rum, rice, cotton and other goods back to Europe. Another example of the movement of people and other living things is immigration. Immigration is the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country. Back in the late 1800’s and 1900’s many people had immigrated. The U.S. issued The Emergency Quota Act of 1921 which limited the total number of immigrants allowed into the country. It also favored immigrants from Western Europe. So the change was that instead of all immigrants coming in at once, it was limited. This affected the U.S. because, simply, it caused a dramatic drop in immigration to the U.S. The last example is invasive species. There are many invasive species. One of the I invasive species is the Ruffe. The Ruffe originated from Europe and Asia. It came to the United States by ballast waters. The bad thing about the Ruffe that it has caused problems with space, but problems with food supply to other fish as well, because it has NO predators.
The second category that is going to be discussed is movement of ideas. An example of movement of ideas is the Ku Klux Klan. The Ku Klux Klan was a secret society of white Southerners in the United States; was formed in the 19th century to resist the emancipation of slaves; used terrorist tactics to suppress Black people, these men were “100% American men”. With the Ku Klux Klan there was a positive side and a negative side. The positive side was that they had sent a white boy to college but ONLY a white boy. The negative part to the Ku Klux Klan is that they spread their prejudice beliefs to others. Another example is Voodoo. Voodoo started in West Africa and came to the West Indies during the Slave trade, and then it came to the United States, more specifically Louisiana. When Voodoo came
