HOW ANTI-DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICE IS PROMOTED IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE SETTINGS ETHICAL PRINCIPLES
In health and social care sector, health care professionals take into account four key ethical principles when providing service to the service users. The key ethical principles are justice, autonomy, beneficence and non-maleficence. In health and social care settings people must be treated fairly without being judgemental regardless of who they are or where they come from. Health care professionals must allow their service users choose the type of services or treatment they want and the professional should support them in getting quality care that will benefit their service users. For example, a care worker may be talking to a group of service users by English language may not meet the language need and preference of another service user who do not understand English language. This will make the service user not to be aware or understand the service he or she is receiving. This difficulty is a discriminatory act to the service user who does not understand English language because the care worker is not treating service users equal.

WAYS OF OVERCOMING DIFFICULTIES THAT MAY ARISE WHEN IMPLEMENTING ANTI-DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICES IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Care organisations have the responsibility to safe and protected environment for their service users and their workers .the employers must ensure that their employees follow the lay down principles and procedures of the organisation in order for the employees to be non-discriminatory when providing service to the service users. They should also ensure that staff members treat one another with respect and also provide quality care to the service users by treating them equal. REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
Health care workers must be reflective in their practice by learning from their past experience so as to continue the professional development of their workers which will help to improve the quality of care that will be given to the service users. Reflective practice will make care workers to analyse their strengths and weaknesses and how they can improve their weaknesses
